Ethicon
Faster instrument development through independent testing.
Engineered a versatile test platform that removed the constraints of the surgical robot environment, allowing for higher-precision sensing, more powerful motors, and rapid design iteration. Using readily available components, the system was designed for easy maintenance and deployment across wet labs, robotic arms, and multiple mounting configurations.
Delivered 50 test platforms, including 20+ upgraded second-generation systems, supporting seven client teams and the development of more than 20 robotic instruments. Today, the platforms represent over 85% of the client’s robotic testing lab infrastructure.
