Larry Schwarz, Ph.D. has always had an insatiable curiosity about what makes people “tick” and the “why” behind their attitudes and actions. This led him to a Ph.D. in Social and Organizational Psychology. From there, Larry worked with the National Board of Medical Examiners before moving into healthcare market research consulting. For his over 25-year career, his market research consulting work has significantly impacted the tactics and decision-making of multiple pharma and device clients such as Ethicon, Novartis, Janssen, SmithKline and Covidien, as well as physicians and patients. In his spare time, Larry tries to understand what makes his vintage cars “tick” (with much less success) and “why” his tennis serve isn’t more reliable.
