Members of the Kascope team were selected to participate in GOOD Ideas for Cities. Partnered up with Renee Mahaffey Harris from the Center for Closing the Health Gap, the team researched the problem and presented a solution to the dramatic lack of access to healthy food options in our city.

Soapbox Cincinnati reports that “right now, one quarter of Cincinnati’s population lives in a food desert—children, women and men lack access to healthy food options they can afford. It doesn’t have to be this way.”

This was one of six problems tackled by local designers for the GOOD initiative. Check out the other videos, each produced by The Queen City Project.
